When traveling to Greenland traveling by plane is reccomended. Arriving in Nuuk is popular because it is located closer to the warmer southern end. Traveling long distances is done by plane or boat due to the lack of roads between towns. In towns few people own cars because everything is in walking distance. If walking isn't an option taxis are used.
